Quirónsalud Marbella opens new facilities specialising in Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Medicine and Dermatology

Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital announces the opening of an innovative service fully dedicated to cosmetic treatments for the face and body. The establishment offers patients an innovative concept with a personalised service, guiding and accompanying them throughout the entire process, paying attention to all their needs from the first contact with the team of specialists.
This service, which is a pioneering project in the portfolio of our Marbella hospital, brings Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Medicine and Dermatology together in one space at the new facilities situated in one of the most exclusive areas of the Singlehome building. This space is situated on the same avenue and at only a few metres from the Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital, and it includes consultation rooms, waiting rooms and procedure rooms providing an atmosphere of the highest comfort and privacy, with a design that goes beyond the traditional concept of a hospital.
Our technological equipment and solid portfolio of services is a differential factor of this new Unit which has managed to bring together internationally-renowned experts in various fields. Surgeons Antonio Rivera and Pietro di Mauro lead the Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit. While the Dermatology Unit is integrated by Doctors Mateo González-Carrascosa and Francisco Fernández Melendez, who will coordinate the Unit together with Doctor Ignacio Castaño Uhagón, an expert in skin cancer and oncologic skin surgery and also a member of the Dermatology Unit of Hospital Ruber Internacional and Clínica Dermatológica Internacional 
(CDI) in Madrid. Additionally, Doctor Natalia Cárdenas is responsible for the Aesthetic Medicine Unit together with the team of Clínica Dermatológica Internacional.
As Miguel Ángel Ramírez Marrero, the Medical Director of Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital highlights, "this project is created with a unique personality that differentiates it from all other existing approaches in the area of top-level Cosmetic Medicine. In fact, the opening of these new facilities means the arrival of Clínica Dermatológica Internacional to Quirónsalud Marbella. This establishment, with headquarters in Madrid, is led by Doctor Ricardo Ruiz, who is also the Head of the Dermatology Unit of Hospital Ruber Internacional. Known as the "skin hospital", it stands out for a vision that focuses on scientific rigour and excellent care provided to all dermatological patients.
Doctor Ricardo Ruiz states: "Introducing the medical philosophy of Clínica Dermatológica Internacional in Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital will enable us to offer the Dermatology and Cosmetic Medicine patient a medical service that was unknow to this region until now. Our purpose in the consultation room is to improve the quality of life of people through their skin. This is, we aim at helping the patients coming to our clinics feel better or a little happier.".
